Jeanne d’Evreux (1310-1371) was the third wife of King Charles IV of France. They had three daughters, Jeanne, Marie & Blanche therefore causing the end of the direct line of the Capetian dynasty. Two of Jeanne's possessions survive: her "Book of Hours" and a statue of the Virgin and Child made of gilded silver and enamel now displayed in the Louvre Museum.
